Conclusion
Parts used:
  • Logitech X-540 5.1 Speakers
  • Fang Gamepad
The cables are all tied up and look fairly neat, I would like to do a better job on these eventually. All the software is installed and working, I'll spare the details - suffice it to say the hardware is easy and straight forward, the software ...not so much.

To polish the system I added a set of 5.1 speakers by Logitech and a Fang Gamepad by Ideazon. They are both economical and functional - I recommend both.

My last step was to get a hanging file crate and make a hanging file/folder for each part of the PC e.g. motherboard, power supply, graphics card, etc. Plus one for "purchase information." It makes a convenient home for all the manuals, disks, cables, adaptors, etc. that each part seems to accumulate. I do this for all my PC's and the crates store easily under my desk. After all, one of the life skills math should teach you is that neatness and organization leads to better results.

I am slowly working my way up in rank in Battlefield 2142- it is fun. The whole project has been fun and I am glad I did it. Who knows what you will be able to get in 5 or 6 years when I build my next gaming PC?.

Lights, Action!

Everything good to go. Still need to tie up a few wires I see.

The job is never done until the paperwork is done! All parts files organized.
